  • Darwin Conference Suite

    Darwin Conference Suite, situated in Darwin College is the year round conference venue that is a flexible space for a maximum of 600 people. It can be used as one large room or divided, with soundproofed walls into 3 smaller rooms. Darwin Conference Suite has its own reception, cloakroom, dance floor and bar all perfect for dinner and dance events.

  • Grimond Meeting Room

    Grimond proves to be a popular location for large conferences and events due to the variety of meeting rooms available. Grimond meetings and conferences venue is located centrally on campus and has a range of meeting rooms, from 3 large theatres and 8 breakout rooms.

  • The Sibson Building

    The Sibson building is the newest conference facility, located centrally on campus and boasting three large lecture theatres, 6 meeting rooms and a large ground floor foyer with access to an outdoor patio area.

  • Sports Halls

    The three sports halls are ideal for large scale events. The adaptability of the sports halls mean a variety of events can be held there, from sports events such as boxing or karate, to banquet dinners, to large exhibitions.

  • Colyer Fergusson Music Building

    The Colyer Fergusson Music Building is a unique and charming venue for musical performances or academic conferences. The building consists of one large hall, meeting rooms and a foyer area. Adjacent to the Gulbenkian Theatre and Cinema, with a large foyer are which makes a great location for registration desks and for delegates to mingle with lunch.

    Two first floor rooms holding 25 people are ideal for small breakout sessions from the main event in the hall.

  • The Gulbenkian Theatre

    The Gulbenkian is a modern building in the centre of the University campus, comprising of a theatre and large café area. The theatre is a great modern event space for people looking to hold musical, theatrical or academic events.

  • Keynes College

    Keynes College has a range of meeting rooms, from 5 large lecture theatres and 20 breakout rooms. Alongside the meeting space is a large foyer area and an adjoining foyer area- brilliant for drinks receptions and exhibitions. It is located centrally on campus, with plenty of nearby parking or alternatively it is close to the University’s main bus stop.

    Keynes College is perfect for residential conferences, with 600 bedrooms in newly built accommodation blocks next to the Conference Rooms, all en-suites and a variety of singles and doubles.

  • Rutherford College

    Rutherford College has lecture theatres, breakout rooms, its own dining room and accommodation – all in the same building. This makes it the perfect location for residential conferences.

    In Rutherford College, 150 single standard bedrooms are available, all of which are located in corridors of up to 7 bedrooms sharing a bathroom and compact kitchen unit. Some of the rooms have the best views over the University grounds down to the Cathedral. Parking is also located next to the College.

Canterbury 

Known as the Jewel in Kent’s Crown, the University of Kent is a campus university situated right next to the historic city of Canterbury. Getting to the University of Kent

A campus university right next to Canterbury city centre, the University of Kent can be accessed best by train, coming into either Canterbury West or Canterbury East, followed by a very short taxi ride to get to your destination
